Hello. We use Joomla 3.2.1.
Trying to index .pdf docs we also get the message "XPDF not executable". Cannot find the solution in this thread. Any suggestions where to start? |

I have been configuring on a Mac running Yosemite. I When I checked the configuration, JiFile told me that I had to set file permissions in the following directory: (adapter/helpers/binaries/osx/pdftotext). This directory, however, does not exist. For whatever reason, JiFile puts the pdftotext in (adapter/helpers/binaries/linux/pdftotext). The correct directory shows up only after one elsewhere specifies the proper path. This is unnecessarily confusing. Additionally, the configuration instructions refer in at least two places to something called "DAR" but thus far I've been unable to find any explanation for this acronym.
